Used Vehicle Price Promise Guarantee Terms & Conditions
- The offer applies to the current price of the Hartwell Vehicle compared to the current price of the comparison vehicle offered by a registered dealer or dealer group within the UK (excludes other Hartwell dealerships).
- The offer applies only when comparing vehicles with exactly the same specification.
- "Vehicle" means the identical package and specification: same make, model and model year , trim, colour, provided in a single sale (i.e. excluding multiple vehicle deals). The offer applies to all associated extras on, or included with the vehicle.
- The offer applies only on vehicles with the same or lower mileage as the vehicle on offer
- The offer is subject to written verification of the other dealer or dealer group's quote
- Upon verification of the lower quote, Hartwell will refund the difference.
- Hartwell Plc reserves the right to withdraw this offer at any time.
- This offer is only valid on used cars and is only valid within 7 days of purchase.

We will assess the condition of your car, service history etc and print out a HPI report with the valuation of your part exchange and then offer you £250 more than the value of your car.

Important Information Regarding VED
Please note the VED rules for cars first registered from 1 April 2017 onwards. First Year Rates (FYRs) of VED will vary according to the carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions of the vehicle. A flat Standard Rate (SR) of £140 will apply in all subsequent years, except for zero-emission cars for which the SR will be £0. Cars with a list price above £40,000 will attract a supplement of £310 on their SR for the first 5 years in which a SR is paid. All cars first registered before 1 April 2017 will remain in the current VED system, which will not change. The new rates and bands for the post-2017 VED system are set out in the table below:
