The Oxfordshire Business Awards 2022

30 January 2022

Hartwell are sponsoring the 'Charity and Community Award' at this year’s Business Awards

The Oxfordshire Business Awards (OXBA) recognises and promotes the achievements and excellence of Oxfordshire-based companies. OXBA is in its 26th year, with this year’s awards being the first since 2019 after the Covid-19 pandemic postponed the previous award ceremonies.

There are 13 award categories which cover a range of organisational achievements, such as marketing, technology, and retail excellence, as well as separate awards for small, large, and new businesses, and 3 individual awards for outstanding business people and employees.

OXBA Chairman, Paul Lowe, hopes the awards can continue to have a positive impact on the Oxfordshire business community as well as promoting excellence across all sectors particularly after a difficult two years caused by the pandemic

The Hartwell Charity and Community Award

We are proud to be sponsoring this award category, which recognises the incredible charitable organisations who make a huge difference to the local communities.

Organisations of any size are eligible for this award. In order to be a successful entrant, organisations are judged on the following criteria:

  • Fulfilment of charitable aims
  • Impact on local disadvantaged groups
  • Management and leadership influence
  • Membership/community involvement
  • Commitment of staff

The previous winner of this award in 2019 was One-Eighty. The charity aims to re-integrate young people into education by providing programmes and interventions, working within Oxfordshire and the surrounding areas

Hartwell have had the privilege of being supported by the loyal Oxfordshire community for over 100 years. By sponsoring the charity and community award, we look forward to recognising the companies who go above and beyond to have a positive influence on our locals.
